Busara Center for Behavioral Economics is a research organization that seeks to improve the understanding of how people living in poverty make decisions and to leverage that knowledge to produce better social outcomes. It enables researchers to conduct rigorous laboratory-based studies in behavioral economics in a developing country and applying the outcomes of research to real-world problems.
About the project:
This research will be working with the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics and Bridge International Academies to assess the effectiveness and impact of their unique school curriculum. Field officers will be working with schools nationwide to assess and measure student performance, teacher motivation, and effects of education on family livelihoods.
The research study will be conducted in 15-20 counties across Kenya and will require significant travel. Working outside of regular business hours (in the morning or in the evening) will sometimes be necessary.

Community Development Trust Fund (CDTF) is a joint initiative of the Government of Kenya and the European Union established in 1996. 

CDTF is implementing a five year Programme, the Community Development Programme Phase Four (CDP 4) with two components - the Community Environment Facility Phase Two (CEF II) funded by both the European Union (EU) and the Government of the Royal Kingdom of Denmark, and the Community Based Development Initiatives (CDI) funded by the EU. 

The main objective of CDTF is to contribute to poverty alleviation efforts in Kenya by offering support in form of grants to community-based projects, which address basic social, economic and sound environmental management priorities.

A Job vacancy has arisen in the CDI component that require to be filled on contract basis by highly a qualified and experienced Kenyan national.
